Carlsberg
Carlsberg decided to join Refrigerants, Naturally! in 2006, because we support the idea of a HFC-free future for point of sales cooling cabinets.
Our participation in Refrigerants, Naturally! is in alignment with our overall environmental policy, as we continuously will minimise adverse effects on the environment and optimise the use of natural resources.
Carlsberg's commitment and status June 2007:
- Carlsberg starts to phase-out the use of HFC in POS cooling cabinets all over the world whenever it is feasible.
- Starting in Scandinavia, where a service and maintenance setup for HC commercial cooling cabinets already is in place.
- The phase-out will subsequent continue in the rest of Western Europe, followed by Eastern Europe and Asia.
- Pilot trial in 2007 in Scandinavia with up to 1000 HC coolers.
