The Climate and Clean Air Coalition to Reduce Short-Lived Climate Pollutants (CCAC) is a voluntary international framework for concrete and substantial action to accelerate efforts to reduce Short-Lived Climate Pollutants (SLCPs), with an initial focus on methane, black carbon, and many hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs), in ways that protect the environment and public health, promote food and energy security, and address near-term climate change.
Refrigerants, Naturally! applied for and got accepted as an actor in the 'Promoting HFC Alternative Technology and Standards' Initiative. The members companies believe that international collaboration between countries, companies and NGOs, such as the CCAC can pave the way toward the global uptake of climate-friendly refrigerants. Refrigerants, Naturally! is interested in taking part in defining strategic directions for the introduction of low-GWP refrigerants and support other global companies and members of the CCAC in transitioning to natural refrigerants.
